Legal and policy correspondents meeting

The agenda of this meeting is organised around four main sessions that map its main objectives of reviewing recent developments concerning legislation controlling drugs and new psychoactive substances at national level; exchanging and discussing information on specific topics that have been identified last year by legal correspondents or EMCDDA as of particular interest; reviewing and discussing developments in legislation prioritised by the 2013–2016 EU Action Plan on Drugs; and to reinforce the role of the network as a multilateral resource, not only linked to the European Legal Database on Drugs but also able to provide assistance to any national expert as the need may arise.

Participation of one national expert from the Republic of Armenia, Israel and Ukraine, respectively, at this meeting was supported by the project ‘Towards a gradual improvement of ENP partner countries’ capacity to monitor and to meet drug-related challenges’, funded by the European Commission.
